Turbo Tax 2012

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2007 and love it. In the past, we have rentals and sold them and we were audited by the IRS. I had used Turbo Tax and at the audit it turned out that the IRS owed me more money! I was dissapointed this year when we sold a house and it didn't ask about that change in our family.Maybe I have the wrong version with Deluxe?
What's great about it: Easy to use, guides you through the info, uploads last year's Turbo Tax info
What's not so great: Didn't ask some questions that had been asked in the past. Like any thing new this years, sell your home, have a baby,

I use Turbo tax for myself and my family. Over the years it has saved us hundreds of dollars in fees, and we don't have to take time out of our busy days to schedule an appointment. We can just do it at our leisure! Thanks TurboTax!
What's great about it: Importing from previous years maintains accuracy and saves time!
What's not so great: If you use a different computor you loose the imports!

I generally use Easy Step although I know my way around the tax forms. The 2012 edition has one glitch in Easy Step -- when you get a grayed out box where you need to insert data it is not obvious that you must link to a worksheet where you input the data. I encountered this in several places, most notably in property taxes paid.
What's great about it: Easy step is easy

I would like to see an easier way of navigating through a guided section. What I find particularly troubling is that almost all previously entered values are retained, but not always. This makes stepping through a section more challenging so that I do not miss a question. Otherwise product is great!
What's great about it: Guided sections
What's not so great: Navigation through previously completed guided sections

Turbo Tax is dynomite!

I have been a very loyal and satisfied user of Turbo Tax for many, many years and have always been very satisfied. I will continue to use this product and have bragged about Turbo Tax to my friends and family and have even encouraged my children to begin using Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Very easy to operate and understand

Was looking out for me

Have been using for years and this year after a season of unemployment the new employer underwithheld tax and the software questioned it. We of course have to pay it, but know now to have a little more taken out. Also made filing the myriad of medical expenses easy in a year of many payments for health issues
What's great about it: Caught a major problem on a W-2
What's not so great: Didn't like the Donation request ad
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
