NO WORRIES

I like that Turbo Tax takes all the worrying off my back by going over every detail & the explanations are easy to understand. The best part is if you don't have enough to declare as deductions, it tells you. It might be a harsh reality, but it helps keep the IRS from checking your return with for questionable deductions.
What's great about it: Everything you could possibly be asked, is asked.
What's not so great: Harsh reality

Stressless Saturday

We have used TurboTax for several years. Data transfers easily from last year's return and allows an ongoing comparison. Errors pop up as warnings to be corrected. Having learned the system, and kept records to match the format, this year took only a few hours and 2 cups of coffee.
What's great about it: Easy to follow

An Easy Way to Go

I used to go to an income tax place. I gathered all my info, and watched as they typed it into the computer. I figured I can do that myself...and I can. Turbotax makes it easy.

As good as it gets

I have watched and participated in using TT for the past 10+ years. Each year, improvements show up...some for the betterment of the program, and some that make everything take more time. For the past couple of years, I find that having to scroll down to find appropriate places to input has become more tedious, when it should be easier.
However, all in all, it's still a great program. Where would we be without it?
What's great about it: TT is simplified enough
What's not so great: Having to scroll down all the time

Have been using Turbotax for many years, and it remains fairly easy to use, and I've never found any error in calculations. It flows logically through the questions. There were some problems attempting to import data from a financial institution and I had to enter it manually. It was difficult to find how to completely delete the bad imported data. The e-file option is very convenient.
What's great about it: Copy from previous years; easy entry
What's not so great: Help sometimes hard to find

Terrific software

I like the fact that it fills in information from last year. It should have explained or have had a help topic in the search box for the fact that box 20 on my W-2 had a 2 digit number this year instead of a 4 letter code like in the past filing years. That took me by surprise and i had to spend time on the web searching to see if this was a problem or that the local tax bureau changed it's codes. You should also include a choice for filing local taxes.
What's great about it: Very user friendly, easy instructions, walks you thru every step.
What's not so great: Should include free state filing for the price of the software
