Even better than last year

I'm not sure what you did, but this year seemed easier to navigate through than last year. Kudos.
What's great about it: Seemed to go faster and was easier to review/backtrack/chech than in years past.
What's not so great: I'm still paying taxes

Turbo tax is so easy to use! i like the way it is organized step by step. I also like the links that explain the more complicated terms.

poorly designed software

it's far too easy to miss adding "paid for tax software" and "paid sales tax". These are both things that if you're using this software you have almost certainly done, yet when it claims it's "checking for errors" and "making sure you get the maximum refund" it has no problems if you leave these blank. Yet it feels the need to double check that you didn't pay child support at the very end, even though you've told it this year and last year that you have no children and have no child support. It double checks the unlikely already verified things, and not the very likely not yet checked things.
What's great about it: had all necessary options
What's not so great: misses obvious deductions

Easy and almost painless

It only took around 3 hours to do my taxes this year. I use Turbo Tax Deluxe and it has all necessary forms and asks all the right questions so you don't overlook anything. I've been using Turbo Tax for many years and see no reason to try other products. Very Happy!!!
What's great about it: Easy to follow, detailed, has all the forms, a great product.
What's not so great: You have to buy a new one every year.

I was walked step by step

I had used Turbo Tax previously, then I decided to try the eletronic version of HR Block, and I was very sorry I did it!
It was very confusing. In order to make sure I did not make mistakes I had to fill the forms manually, which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place.
I learned my lesson, I am back to Turbotax. The feaure I like the most is the way the questons posed. I actually understand the questions!
No to mention that for the value I got, the price of the software is ridiculous!
As simple as 123!
