Filing Federal and State income taxes is supposed to be a hassle isn't it? This was no hassle. It took two hours...maybe...to secure substantial refunds. But, hey, I'm just a wage slave who's fairly generous on the donation front and pays significant State income taxes and local real estate taxes. So it really shouldn't be all that complicated, now should it?
What's great about it: Fast, direct, straight-forward
What's not so great: Scary fast, direct, straight-forward

makes life simpler

In previous years the questions were simple and easier to check yes or no. They need to be clearer to understand. But the explainations were perfect.
What's great about it: easier than paper

Overall, I think this is the best software available. It is so easy to use and they really make sure you get the maximum refund available to you
What's great about it: Ease of use, knowledge of all deductions
What's not so great: Having to pay $20 to e-file my state return

great as usual but one issue

I don't understand it says and always has that state and federal to file and state to file has been free except the efile fee. Yet it keeps trying to charge me for a state download. I don't understand. I only filed my federal until I get some answers on the state forms
What's great about it: quick easy thorough
What's not so great: it says the illinois forms to file are free and first time seems not
