I'd also like to see the ability to print the screen to a pdf without some funky work around that I do. What's with this?'
What's great about it: smooth easy process; nice user interface
What's not so great: Going back to import from Quicken is a hassle. It should be easy even if I decide to import from Quicken later. Also,
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Lost without Turbotax

Dissapointed NC state tax not included this year. I was unsure I entered proper additions and subtractions from federal form. Otherwise all else went smoothly. When I prrinted all forms and supporting schedules it printed 184 pages. I depend on Turbotax, so keep up the good work.
What's great about it: Easy step by step process.
What's not so great: Difficult to do my Trust K1. Hard to enty data on a form.

1st Time

Overall a good experience. I've always had my accountant do our business and personal taxes, but could not afford to go that route this year, so this was my 1st time. The personal taxes was pretty easy and straight forward. The corporation taxes were a bit more difficult and confusing. I am not an accountant and did not understand some of the accounting lingo. I had to file an extension until i have more time to figure it out or ask an accountant.
What's great about it: Mostly Faviorable
What's not so great: Some areas a bit confusing

TurboTax account problems

Thorough software for Federal. State is almost too automatic, but acceptable. Filling in form to charge CC for state filing, TurboTax says it has an account with my email address. Password I had didn't work and "Forgot your password?" couldn't find account. Filed return anyway
What's great about it: Overall quite thorough
What's not so great: Couldn't set a bookmark at a late step, fix something and go back

Done on Day One!

This software is easy to use even if you have never prepared your own taxes before. The software guides you through the process with clear instructions and offers more detailed explanations with a click of the mouse. With Turbo Tax I never have to spend more than a few hours preparing and filing my tax returns. I am always confident that the software is up to date with the latest tax laws. The cost of the software is certainly less than paying for professional services.
What's great about it: Easy to follow guidance. Easy to access help, if needed.
What's not so great: None
