Overall as in past years, turbo tax is very helpful in getting through the process. I have used the program for years.
What's great about it: I find the 2012 program easy to use. Working through each section so as not to overlook a deduction is most helpful.
What's not so great: I had a problem this year where I had to reload the program three times. The program did not recognize the signature.

Different experince this year

I have used Turbo Tax since 2006 and have highly recommended your products. However, this year is different. It was hard to find answers to my questions. Yes, the help button took my to your web site but still made me read reviews from others and search for my answers. In the past, I relied upon your site to provide me with the answers not searching a forum of others who are also lost in the IRS forms.
What's great about it: Easy to read format
What's not so great: Difficult to find answers to questions

easy breezy

I have been using turbo tax as long as I have been filing federal and state income tax returns. It is easy, efficient, and addresses deductions I didn't know I was eligible for!
What's great about it: took under an hour, addresses pertinent applications
What's not so great: program had difficulty finding last year's return on same computer- not sure why.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to file!

Turbo Tax asks questions you might not think about to get you all the deductions you are eligible for.
It is easy and simple to use - you can go back and change or correct entries anytime you want.
E-filing really makes it quick and easy
What's great about it: Lots of questions
What's not so great: Really didn't find anything I didn't like

Relatively Easy

Spent several hours trying to sort out royalty income when 1099Rs did not have information to match the questions asked in Turbo Tax. The difficulty came when I tried to go back and sort things out and ended up with multiple entries.
What's great about it: Smooth interview process hits all the normal activities for a simple return with deductions itemized.
What's not so great: Hard to backtrack when oyalty quesions did not match data on 1099Rs
Pros: I bought or sold investments

It was good, but one thing bugged me

I love turbo tax, as my second year of filing with it I was very happy. The only issue I had was that turbo tax required me to pay for their state level return feature before even telling me how much I was eligible to receive. This caused me to actually spend as much money on the state refund option as I was going to get back. I would have appreciated it if turbo tax had told me how much I was going to get on the state level before asking me to pay for their feature, it would have been a good faith gesture that would have scored extra points in my book.
What's great about it: It was easy to use, and very reliable
What's not so great: You have to pay for some options before even knowing their full details
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
