I like the easy to use features so I don't have to guess. Takes the fear out of tax preparation and filing.
What's great about it: Easy to use, no hassle.

Honestly.. if I can do it with Turbo Tax .. Any one should'nt have zero problems with "paying" TAXES!!!!

E-mail & snail- mail list of forms/schedules/works

TT should include a list of forms/schedules/worksheets/etc. that TT will be submitting to each of the Fed and the State when e-mailing the returns.
And also, for those returns being submitted by mail, TT should say EXACTLY what should be mailed for each of the Fed and State.
For instance, when I print my returns
(Fed was e-mailed because I will receive a refund. State was mailed because I had a payment due and if I used a credit card, there would be an extra fee involved.)
the TT text portion applicable to the State return did not say what to mail. So, I mailed everything!

What's great about it: Easy step is great - always has been. I've been using TT (& Mac-In Tax) since, at least, 1994.
What's not so great: Lack of information as to EXACTLY what is sent to the Fed and State
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

SO EASY TO USE! It took me more time to find all of documents that I got in the and get them in one place than it did to use Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Quick and Easy questions
What's not so great: Had to pay a fee to file state tax

Why Sweat When Turbo Tax is Near

Turbo Tax gets easier each year. I prepared taxes in 1 one day which is a new record. The challenge is getting the information available and finding last years CD to reload. Stepping through Turbo Tax is easy. Seeing the amount owed with each step is really nice. I recommend Turbo Tax to all my friends.
What's great about it: easy, fast, accurate
What's not so great: collecting all the info

Very simple and easy to use for items that have to be entered manually. Very easy import from financial institutions when available. Calculations are accurate. Retrieves previous year entries as reminders/checks for current year entries.
My wife filed her mother's taxes one year minus info for brokerage transactions (no taxes due) resulting in big tax deficiency notice. Easily retrieved the prior year return, added the transaction information and filed amended return with TurboTax
