Better Than Ever

Downloading information from financial instittions has been made better, now that many institutions are adding codes to their 1099s for easy access by TurboTax.

As this is not my first Rodeo i am Completely Satisfied with the product of Turbo Tax! There is NO Better way to do TAxes!!
What's great about it: EXTREMELY Easy and Helpful!
What's not so great: Did not teach me any Foreign Languages.

Have used Turbo Tax for many years and find it the easiest way to file. Handles complicated returns easily and the many checks as you proceed are a welcome verification of the data entered. Reference to prior years and comparison is a good tool.
My daughter who has previously used an accountant is now using Turbo Tax for the first time based on my recommendation.

My TurboTax Experience

This year the TurboTax installation and update process went very smoothly. The transfer of information from last year's TurboTax was breeze. During data entry I had very few questions because the form explanations are very clear. I was concerned when I saw the recommended processor is 1 GHZ. I used a 650 MHZ processor and the response times are very good. I was able to complete the data entry process in about four (4) hours. It included Capital Gains, Dividends, interest and Social Security information. I am happy with the product.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Recommended 1 GHZ processor

Once when I was looking at forms and X out it did not save the files and I had to reenter most data.
What's great about it: Import basic info from last year
What's not so great: Do not like the complexity of foreign tax
