WooHoo I did my own Taxes!

Turbo Tax took me step by step thru my taxes. If I did not understand what was needed, all I had to do was select the help section. Turbo tax saved me from having to pay a tax person mega bucks.

Seamless Professional and Most Importantly, EASY

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 11 years to file my annual taxes.
I am in the transportation business, I own 2 homes and a rental property, I have many investments, both stateside and abroad. In short, I have tons of expenses and deductions.
Preparing my annual taxes used to take a weekend with notepads, adding machines, a pencil (+ sharpener), and a fist-full of maalox. Thanks to Turbo-Tax, I can now do my taxes in about 2 hours.
I have never been audited and I couldn't be happier. I would pay 5x as much as I pay each year for Turbo Tax.
It's a God-send.

Great products, easy to follow and the questions allow you to provide the information that is needed. Each time you log on an update for the IRS is done to ensure that Turbo Tax is current with IRS.
What's great about it: It ask you all the questions
What's not so great: Nothing so far!

Been using since 1998. This year, I used Deluxe because needed TurboTax Business for S-Corp. Used the Schedule K1 from there so both products worked pretty well. I would however would have liked a better transition for people in my situation (2011 used Home & Business and 2012 used Deluxe plus Business). Would have liked, for example, depreciation items to transfer over to business.
What's great about it: Familiar layout. Confidence in accuracy.
What's not so great: Some areas lacked "more info" or unrelated info

I have used Turbo Tax for years and find it easy to work with for the most part. It can be obstinate when asking a question you have already answered elsewhere. I keep coming back tho.

Every year has been easy. this year I had to call and have the program reset because of technical issues on the turbo tax end. I have been using turbo tax for over 5 years without issues. I plan to use this program again next year.
What's great about it: able to do on my own every year, independence
What's not so great: minor glitch this year with data entry
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
