Fantastic!

I have used Turbo Tax for the last several years and it contunues to be the easiest way to do tax returns. I learned from my dad at age 14 to do hand written returns. I used to buy Lassers book every year and muddle through. But I wouldn't use anything else except Turbo Tax now. It is soooooo easy. Questions get answered, you can look up forms, there is a link to "what is this" all through the returns. It's like having a tax expert hold your hand all the way through to print and file! Thank you For a great product.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: can't think of one

The Ali'i of all tax software!

My friends and coworkers spend several hundred dollars a year with accountants to get the same result I get each year with TurboTax. I've been using their products since 2001. Over the years, I think I've saved thousands in accounting fees and have pretty much received the maximum returns (or least owed for some years).
What's great about it: The step by step guidance
What's not so great: At the review stage, not easy to find the actual line item that needs to be fixed

Finished with no Hitches

It took me some time to discover why when I entered my mortgage interest that the bottom line did not change. In my retirement, the itemized deductions do not exceed the standard deductions by much.
What's great about it: I feel confident that no issues were left not reviewed.
What's not so great: Would like an accounting of how much of my deductions are in excess of the standard deductions.

Excellent Software

I recommend Turbo Tax, to anyone that like to save some serious dollars, I used to pay $400 to my accountant, then another accountant friend told me about Turbo Tax, I used it since 2003 and I never had any trouble.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, very clear, a lot of helpfull tips

For the second year now on my state return (AR) I did not get a screen prompt allowing me to import my estimated tax payments. I had to override the form to enter this information. Probably this is something I did wrong. But now I'm concerned that my tax bill includes a penalty amount that is incorrect.

Although I was nervous about using turbo tax to do my own taxes I felt it was very easy to follow and understand. I will definitely be using turbo tax again or future returns. My returns are very easy and straight forward. Not sure how it would be for more difficult returns but I didn't have any problems at all!! Very Pleased!

Easy!! Filing was a breeze!

2012 Turbo Tax seemed much easier to manipulate through topics than I remembered 2011 software. Filing this year was extremely easy. I even had a well-known company give a "second look" at my return and it was right on!!!! That really put the icing on the cake!!
What's great about it: Appreciated the ease in "traveling" into different parts of the return. Also easy to find answers to questions.
What's not so great: None
