Been using Turbo Tax for 6+ years. It is quick, efficient and accurate. Would not do my taxes without it.

In 2011 we had cashed in a Retirement 401K and rolled it over into an IRA, I was scared about how this would all work out on our tax return. Turbo tax made the whole experience a no brainer - it was great.
What's great about it: I was happy there is no guess work they walk you through every step.
What's not so great: There is nothing that I wasn't 100% pleased with Turbo Tax
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

No refund this year, but TurboTax helped me find as many deductions as possible to reduce the amount I owed. Very easy to follow step-by-step directions.
I have tried some of the other products and keep coming back to TurboTax.

Made it easy

Program improves each year. I used the on-line access to brokers 1099s which worked very well. The program is very easy to navigate. I would suggest that the final printing option allow printing of the documents submitted to the taxing authorities separated from the printing of documents for personal retention only - worksheets, vouchers, etc.
What's great about it: fast; easy to move around the program; excellent helps

State taxes problem with casino winnings

Fed tax losses were not transferred to State. Turbo expert guided me through to another software program and went through page by page and stayed with me to the end while being very professional and patient with my problem. She was great, she was also understanding my problem and was not quitting till she found the solution, in which she did. After reading the help, my problem has been around since 2008 and states that Turbo Tax is not going to do anything about it. I will still continue to use Turbo Tax but will watch how it calculates my taxes and will not hesitate to call if needed.
What's great about it: Turbo tax expert guided me through the correct software and pages
What's not so great: had to wait a long time on phone for rep
