Great instructions

Turbotax gave great step by step instructions for allowing me to do my taxes by myself. Also included lots of detailed explanations for anything there may have been a question on.

The first time around for checking errors, Turbo Tax missed an error. It was for a Charitable donation I made in 2012 to a place in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. It could not be done, so I had to delete it. Fortunately, it did not effect the outcome.
What's great about it: It works like a charm
What's not so great: It is a little confusing to the elderly

I like the fast easy access, when you come back year after year you even have less that you have to put in, just changes you made. I feel comfortable that it asked me all the questions that I could possible get a deduction for. Electronic is the best way to go.
What's great about it: walks you through ever step, and I don't have to mess with talking to anyone

Excellent tax product

Preparing taxes is not for sissies! You have to have good records and understand the way they are calculated if you have anything other than W-2(s). Turbo Tax helps you get everything in order and entered in an organized way.
What's great about it: Easy entry, good explanations
What's not so great: Must know answers to questions you are asked!

Super Easy Process

Very easy step by step process with plenty of helpful explanations. Easy to back track for updates. The transfer of personal information from prior years return filed electronically saves a lot of data entry time.

Time saver and 'organizer'

Thorough step by step process that makes it far less likely that you will forget something. Clear explanations along the way as to 'what and why'. Capable of being a second storage facility for your information that is available all year long and into the future. Cost of product is a value considering time saved. Would guess that the "deluxe" version could handle 97% of all situations that might arise.
What's great about it: a secondary storage facility, timely updates, step by step
What's not so great: Audit Ins. too high for % of people audited

despite temptation I still return for my returns. i can e file more than on family member and add to laptops as well as my pc

The audit review is great. Would like some detail on what causes it to increase, particularly the green area. It seems green is green and don't quite understand what causes it to advance
