Quick and EZ

I have used TurboTax since 2002 and it gets easier every year. I have always used the CD format, but this year I tried the online download option. I couldn't transfer data from last years filing, even though I had last years CD and it was also on my hard drive. I purchased the 2012 CD and my problem was resolved.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions.
What's not so great: Some questions were not clear, specifically in the Itemized Deduction section.

How do I print the darned thing.

Load time and getting it to print were annoying enough to make me look elsewhere next year. Otherwise it's a good product.
What's great about it: Got it done.
What's not so great: Took a looooong time to load.

Easy as pie

We love this product. We have been using this year after year. It is very detailed and the step-by-step process makes it easy. We are sure nothing is missed. The only disadvantage is having to go back over each item if you need to make an update. Even though that part can be annoying, it is a good double check, because I was able to catch something that I forgot.
What's great about it: Extremely simple to use, step-by-step process
What's not so great: Going back through everything to complete if you don't finish the first time
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Very helpful

Without Turbo Tax we would have to pay a tax prepare or accountant. It saves us quite a bit of money.
What's great about it: Covers every deduction, makes you think of things you never would have used
What's not so great: I would like a printed detail of what each category includes. We go back and move things.

Turbotax walks you through all the income and deductions with simple, easy to understand questions. It fills in all the blanks for you and you feel comfortable you covered everything.

Straightforward & thorough

I am a regular TurboTax user, and I remain happy with the product. I use both the step by step guides and I also look for particular items, so the program works well for me in both ways.
What's great about it: I liked the ability to make sure that all forms I received were captured in Turpotax

Help Could Be Better

I tried to use one checking account to pay the Fed and another one to pay the state. After entering each account in those returns, I noticed during the review that the chcking account I entered for the FED was being used for the state also. I could not find out how to update the checking account for the STATE using help. I tried multiple search strings and just could not get an answer that helped me.
What's great about it: Step-by-Step got me through all the forms without trouble.
What's not so great: Could not find out how to utilize multiple checking accounts.

Simple To Use

I have used turbo tax for the past 5 years. It is easy to use and saves me alot of money and time by not paying an accountant hundreds of dollars.
What's great about it: Easy, Can finish return at your own pace
What's not so great: Takes up a lot of space on your computer
