Simple

This could not be easier. Once i had all of my data in one place, it is simply a "follow your nose" procedure to enter the data. All of the forms are completed and you are done. I often wnder, however, if the up-dates that come through after i have completedthe entries would have changed the results. So far, they have not apparently done so, but I always wonder.
What's great about it: Easy to follow.
What's not so great: i still owed money.

Keeps Getting Better Every Year

I've used Turbo Tax to file my personal federal & state returns for over ten years and this was my best experience ever. In the past it seemed like there were always little glitches that would come up during the review that would drive me crazy trying to fix. The glitches were typically due either to the software not using "common sense" or not taking no for an answer. I experienced zero glithces this year and my return was just as detailed as ever. Overall great experience!

I been using TurboTax as long as I can remember. From filing as a single male, to married filing jointly.. add a home business 5 years ago, close a home business 2 year ago. employee stock sales, poll work stipends, educational credits and lack there of... It has handled it all.
I think it is just great and Audit Defense has offered peace of mind.
What's great about it: Has made my taxes easy for more than 13 years. Has met every complexity of my life
What's not so great: It doesn't make my CD player dispense gumdrops.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Simplified the entire yearly tax experience

I used to do my taxes myself (out of necessity). While I suspect having a paid tax professional going over my returns in depth and asking me all the questions I don't know to ask might be more effective I don't expect it could be much more effective than TurboTax but it would be more expensive. TurboTax is the good middle ground where you pay an acceptable cost for excellent assistance.
What's great about it: simplified what is normally an arduous experience

Quick and Easy

As always, Turbo Tax is a quick and easy way to complete my taxes. It systematically takes you through each of the sections and copies over everything from last year. Best of all, federal e-filing is free!
What's great about it: Takes you through step by step
What's not so great: Copies over non-pertinent info if you don't fill out that section

2012 taxes

With the exception of the transition to the state form it was good
What's great about it: Ability to file the taxes with confidence
What's not so great: This year the transition from the federal form to the State form was terrible. It took several tries to figure it out

Got It Done!!

Really makes it easy to get the job done and done right. I like that you can get explanations of what is going on whenever you want to. Since I used to be a tax preparer and have also reviewed many returns over the years, I know how difficult it can be to get it done correctly even for CPA's and other professionals. Turbo Tax is worth the investment.
What's great about it: Guides you through it in a way you can understand.
What's not so great: None
