Great Program

I have tried different tax program, but always come back to Turbo Tax because it is thorough, accurate and complete.
What's great about it: I have used Turbo Tax for years. It is excellent!

Love a Refund

I never thought I could do taxes by myself until Turbo Tax came along. I have used the program for several years now and find it gets easier!
I don't dread having to do taxes any more with Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Love the step by step guidance, so as not to miss anything.
What's not so great: Having to itemize charitable contributions to Goodwill. Noting every item I give away and then having to put a value on

Best product on the market

Turbo Tax is simply the best and most efficient product for filing taxes. In the past, I filed taxes with professionals and filing services and none have given me the power and comprehensive support which Turbo Tax provides...and better yet, from the comfort of my own home. This program gives the taxpayer every tool to truly maximize their return by offereing various possible deductions (which most filings services dont have the time or know-how to do) step by step. It is truly a blessing of sorts to be able to take control of my own financial well being and file my taxes without the distrust and misguidings most outside sources so often illustrate. I love Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Step by Step guide
What's not so great: I would like greater explanations for certain topics

Always quick and easy

Nothing to improve except cost to file it didn't use to be that much. also should not have to purchase audit guarantee
What's great about it: move through quickly
What's not so great: not enough explination of what was incorrect on review
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Simple, fast, and efficient

For the most part, TurboTax is right on. Up to date, easy to understand, and user friendly. My only issues are when it comes to self-employed or 1099-MISC or PATR. Very general and had to do a lot of research to make sure I was entering my information accurately and appropriately.
What's great about it: Detailed and in a easy to follow concept. Easy to search when have issues.
What's not so great: miscellaneous forms are hard to analzye

Errors after review

1099R problem after review on mine not on wife's.
Error said my state taxwithheld could not be more than my gross or taxable or state distribution. Schwab did not have an entry in box 14 on either mine or my wife's. My wife's 1099R had no problem.
