Outrageously Easy to Use

Filing my taxes could not have been any easier. I had all my necessary documents kept in a folder all year long. I pulled out the folder today and within a few hours, my return was completed and e-filed with a nice refund.
The only downside is the 2012 program was unable to open my saved 2009 file. I couldn't locate my 2009 PDF version of my taxes, all I could find was the saved file. I was unable to locate my 2009 download because it had been longer than 3 years since I purchased from TurboTax. That was a bit frustrating; ultimately I just abandoned my check for an ATM rebate because I couldn't find my 2009 numbers.
Overall, Turbotax is great. I've been using it for well over a decade and have had no complaints.
What's great about it: The step by step process walks you through the entire process of competing your return.
What's not so great: I was unable to open my 2009 Tax File because I didn't have the software installed any longer.

Handled Small Business with No Problem

I've been using Turbo Tax for years and it get's better and better. This year I started a small business, plus I had W2 and 1099 earnings and was worried about doing the taxes. Turbo Tax made it easy and explained along the way where to enter each type of income. I was able to easily plug the numbers from QuickBooks into Turbo Tax and it it made the Schedule C very easy to do.
What's great about it: Easily walked me through the Schedule C
What's not so great: Really none

I have used Turbo Tax or its predecessor for over 20 years with only one electronic audit which was successfully backed up with the paper trail and no errors. Thank you.

Generally excellent product

The program has a few flaws here and there. Nothing very serious, but it insisted on my correcting a few things which were not in error to begin with. I was able to fool TTax with a false entry or two.
What's great about it: Ease of use, accuracy
What's not so great: Some errors occurred when program reviewed return

What's not so great: State filing should be included in purchase price
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I found as always Turbo Tax easy to use and very user friendly. I like most inmportantly how there are definitions for each action or vocabulary words "lingo". Help sectio very well done.

Very comprehensive program that guides you through tax preparation. Navigation back to previous topics is a little clumsy and requires going through everything. Needs a button to move you back to where you originally stopped.
