I have done easy taxes and complicated taxes using Turbo Tax. Turbo Tax is the way to go!!!
What's great about it: Very easy to use and very accurate!!!
What's not so great: None!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy Money

Love the software. It's deductable also saves me time. I just import the information and it's done. The Deluxe version is what I reccommand with kids in college. Just collect the information and input. My friends and co-workers try to lead me to another tax software but I've been using this version to long and the results are nice refunds and no calls from the IRS.
What's great about it: Step by step. It checks for mistakes when I forget.

Great Program I do the whole family in about 2 hours. Easy to use I can't complain about a thing I've been useing Turbo Tax since 2009

I really appreciate this tax software, year after year! It works correctly, covers absolutely everything, and is easy to use. 2011 had some disappointing bugs but 2012 cleaned those up and returned to a flawless experience. In particular, amortization of home mortgage points is easier to understand now, and opportunities to review and print before and after filing are well-documented. I recommend saying yes to creation of an Intuit user account, which makes follow-up interaction possible re: billing and transmission questions. In the past, TurboTax was extremely educational, with many tips and insights into why I pay AMT, whether an IRA contribution would be beneficial tax-wise, what to include in child care expenses, etc. Now it is more of a black-box on these matters. Links to fed tax publications are really helpful, but it is more of a figure-it-out-for-yourself process when it comes to understanding WHY your taxes are what they are. Perhaps some of these educational features are still in the more expensive/comprehensive versions.
What's great about it: comprehensive, copies info from prior year, links to federal forms and pubs
What's not so great: more of a black box than it used to be

Error Check Issue

Problems this year with a W2 and Schedule B. Both were flagged by error check when they should have not ben flagged. Preventing me from filing through the Internet.
What's great about it: Usually is much easier without any issues

I have used TurboTax for several years and it makes filing taxes much easier. It covers all the fields that affect my returns and makes it easy to find and correct errors.
What's great about it: Covers everything that you need to file both federal and state taxes
