easy to do

everything is good except:
1. Being asked to fill in blank spaces on Pa state form after hitting "submit taxes". There should be a link to explain what is being asked and options for answering. I was asked what method of depreciation was used on employee items...copier, etc...I don't know what turbo tax used in the federal section nor what is an acceptable answer.
2. Every time I returned to portions of the federal taxes I had to answer some questions over again while most other answers were saved.

What's great about it: step by step approach
What's not so great: last minute questions on state form...after you said the review was complete!?

Have been using Turbo Tax to file my family taxes for about 5 years. It is very easy and self explanatory to use.

I have been using Turbo tax for years and find it very easy ( unlike Mr. Gietner) to use. I have also worked as a paid preparer.

great form for simple people like myself without a pile of deductions. not sure how it would be for more in depth returns
What's great about it: easy to understand, explained deductions well
What's not so great: shouldn't have to file income taxes at all

Federal Return was a snap

There are items in Mississippi tax forms that are not covered in Federal forms so a quick transfer of data doesn't complete the requirement. Suggest that the forms be visible at all times to track line by line data inputs.
What's great about it: All questions dealing with Federal Return were spot on!
What's not so great: State form needs a little work.

What's not so great: Could have been clearer about the different kinds of 1099s
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

This makes taxes easy every year. It already knows the information from last year. I would highly recommend TurboTax for your taxes.

When we ran review it showed an error.
however i was never able to correct the error because there was no indication what the error was, i had to guess so i went from one error to three errors.
now i am concerned that my refund will be delayed.
there should have been a system to fix the error.
i had to guess, and was not able to guess correctly even though i put the correct information in the blocks, it would not correct the error.
