why do I have to manual enter all of my w2 info and 1099 this year....
I don't think it worth the extra money for the deluxe version at all.

Turbo tax is very easy to use. I have filed with turbo tax for over five years. I couldn't do it by myself on paper, for instance, if I didn't have the help of turbotax.
What's great about it: allowed me to go back and forth and constantly review.

I like this product because i can file from home and this saves time and travel. I can purchase TurboTax and file at my leisure. It doesn't slow down my computer and i can save the files. I like that TurboTax keeps updates on the progress of the return. It transfers the information from one tax year to another. The program analyzes the information and provides sound advice but also allows you to choose other options if necessary. I like that i can subtract fees from a refund.
What's great about it: easy, quick, electronic filing

I really like the detailed information that I can view if I am unsure about a deduction or a credit. I like that I can revisit items easily and that I can compare my return to last year's return. I have used TurboTax for about nine years now. I don't know how I ever did my taxes without it!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax recommends credits and deductions that I had not thought of.
What's not so great: Too many prompts to do my state taxes. My state doesn't have income tax. Wish there was an option to say that.

I am a dedicated Turbo Tax user and every year they continue to make it easier to use. Very intuitiive and money well spent.
