I have used this software for several years now.
I find it fairly easy to use. As a retired person who is receiving Social Security plus a pension, I did find it a little confusing because I do not receive W-2 forms, the message just kept saying it would be explained later.
I feel a more detailed explanation earlier, would have been less stressful:)
What's great about it: I find Turbo Tax very self explanitory.
What's not so great: I am retired, I feel more early info on 1099-R

Returning customer for several years. Like the auto renewal so you don't have to go out and purchase at a store. It comes to you in the mail. However when you are done filing, would like to just be able to quickly print and be done with it instead of having to be asked a bunch of questions. Could be an easy button asking you if you want to see other offers, other screens, rate the product etc. If you do, then it could take you there. If you don't, then exit and you will be completed.
What's great about it: Easy to use and Turbo Tax explains every detail. All forms included in print out that you need to keep.
What's not so great: Hard to exit when finished. Takes you to too many extra screens.

It's almost fun doing the taxes using Turbo Tax!

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Lovin' TurboTax for years

I have used TurboTax for about 8 years and have no plans to change. I love the way it can grab last year's info and save me entry time. It constantly tries to find another area in which I may be able to save more money. Sometimes it even does find something new!
I receive it well before the year ends, so I can start to gather the info I need (medical bills, mileage, etc.)
The e-filing is great - especially when a good-sized refund will be arriving soon!

What's great about it: TurboTax is precise, detailed, yet extremely easy to use.
What's not so great: Kinda wish they could have warned me of possible tax alerts to beware of after my husband died - forms to change!

I love Turbo Tax and have been using it for many years. As my life gets more and more complicated Turbo Tax grows and helps me uncomplicate my taxes.
What's great about it: Step by Step makes it easy to go through without feeling like I've missed something
What's not so great: Help and User Forums are not as helpful as I would expect
Pros: I bought or sold investments
