Excellent Experience!

My experience using Turbo Tax was flawless. Turbo Tax guided me through the entire process while making excellent recommendations to maximize my refund. Excellent Job Turbo Tax! I will use Turbo Tax again next year!
What's great about it: Easy to follow tutorials

TT Deluxe handles most things easily with the Q&A interface fairly user friendly. The area that could use some improvement is the handling of k1. This is not entirely the fault of TT, as there doesn't seem to be a standard for identifying some of the items that are in the statements for boxes 13, 17 & 20. e.g. I have a k1 that shows 17F1 as "Excess Intangible Drilling Costs", and the relevant entry section in TT offers a set of possibilities, including "Intangible Drilling Costs", but not "Excess Intangible Drilling Costs", so I selected the "Other" choice and entered "Excess Intangible Drilling Costs" as the description.
Along the same lines, it would be helpful to have more guidance as to how to use the State information from an MLP.

Our time was limited due to job and travel demands. I could work on this on road, and file before April 15 - a new record for me! The program walked me through multiple areas that were not normal, and it gave me great advice in areas of question through the community forum. What a joy to be part of the TurboTax Community. Thanks so much for "holding" my hand through this process!
What's great about it: Being able to go back to the tax return and review and think through additional exemptions was fantastic.

For my fifth year in a row I used Turbo Tax, even after seeing TV commercials that said other Companies and filing DVD;s were easier or cheaper. I LOVE TURBO TAX.
All the checks, step by step help, save me money. Answers question about all types of forms so I don't miss a thing.

Even though there are lots of options that don't apply and the whole thing can take awhile, TTax walks you through step by step. Couldn't be easier (unless the government streamlined things...). Thanks TTax.

This is 4 years in a row for me - I plan to continue as this really simplifies the process for me. I love the interface between Turbo Tax and Quicken!
