I found it difficult to navigate between schedule C and forms and that sometimes could have clarified questions better.
What's great about it: Easy to us
What's not so great: Difficulty going from questions to forms, often feeling having to start all over again.

TurboTax 2012

The version I used this year was fairly painless (compared with other options for tax preparation). I found the broker download feature to be particularly helpful. Generally speaking, TurboTax is well worth its cost. I consider it to be a bargain -- particularly when compared with the cost of a tax accountant.
What's great about it: Relatively easy to fill out, and the broker downloads save a great deal of time and effort.
What's not so great: Some instructions are vague or difficult to follow. "Help" is not always helpful.

extraordinaridly great for my refund

As a first time user it was very easy to undertand every step of tje way. guidance and explanations were simple and easy to understand what information was needed. Having not used turbo tax before I was a bit nerveous and hesitant but as i went along with the process I found it non-threatening very well guiding me through the process of completing each task very easily. I would definitely recommended to anyone who have not used it before, because of its simplicity to follow and explain what imformation is needed to be inputed into each category.

very unhappy with this years program

I have used TurboTax for over 30 yrs but this year it was very slow to load and more difficult to move from one entry page to the next. It also would not let me save files to an external floppy drive as in the past. when selecting the print routine it went to WordPerfect but then said the file was incompatable. To say the least I am very unhappy with the program for 2012

Made a very difficult job much easier

Taxes are always difficult and time consuming. I've used Turbo Tax for years. Since I want to understand my taxes and how I can save on deductions and investments, TT has been a gift to me. Your software makes filing my taxes as understandable and painless as it can be, short of paying an accountant three times as much to do the same job.

What's great about it: TT has saved me the cost of an accountant and increased my knowledge of the tax system.
