Easy to use and understand. I do both mine, and our daughter's State & Federal Tax returns.
What's great about it: Auto populates from one year to the next
What's not so great: Doesn't allow to skip sections that does not apply

NY part-time resident

The walkthrough for NY part-time was so screwed up that I eventually had to print the forms and manually enter the information. It would not let me enter the information correctly through the step-by-step. This was ridiculous.
What's great about it: Federal and Utah Non-resident were very good

What a great way to do an undesirable task! I organize my info before I start and TurboTax walks me through it easier than my CPA did! I feel in control, I feel like I've covered everything that applies to my situation and I breathe a great sigh of relief when I E file because I know my tax returns are on their way. I'm done, I can sit back and enjoy the rest of my day. Thanks, TurboTax for a great job!
What's great about it: Very detailed, very specific, perfect!!

I help my children with their returns but it could get expensive for all of us with multiple states to file in.

Slick and Easy

This is the fourth time I've used Turbo Tax, and with the exception of a difficult experience in filing the first time, I've been able to file both Federal and State returns in less than two hours. Some of the categories don't apply to me, but it's nice to be sure and it's a pretty quick check-off. I will continue to use Turbo Tax for my returns for the foreseeable future.
What's great about it: Easy to follow with very little thinking on my part. Easy to understand questions. Idiot proof.
What's not so great: None that I can think of.
