Another Solid Experience!

All in all, we are very happy with TurboTax. It is has been our go to product for about 10 years. The step-by-step format breaks down an overwhelming process into manageable pieces. You can easily stop and start as your own time dictates. I strongly recommend TurboTax!
What's great about it: Finds all possible deductions and credits; takes you one step at a time; easy to understand explanantions
What's not so great: Some forms offered vague directions for following up on exceptional circumstances

I like to use Turbotax because of the ease of it all. It is really simple to use, if I have any questions all the questions have already been asked are right in front of my eyes. I just have to click on the question and answers on the right column and poof the answer pops up! I also like how it checks for errors and automatically saves the information as I go along. I would recommend this product to the novices out there .
What's great about it: It was very thorough didn't miss anything.
What's not so great: None

Improves each year. Step-by-step process eliminates need to keep up with ever changing tax rules. E-filing federal return is easy and can set a later date for sending additional taxes owed after the e-file date.
What's great about it: Step-by-step process, 1099 & W2 downloads
What's not so great: state return e-file is not free
Pros: I bought or sold investments

All aspects of tax filing are made easier by TT. The only problem I have is tracking down all 1098 and 1099-type documents for reporting. Is there not a way that the IRS can provide TT with the access to our 'reported' income-related 1098 and 1099 documents ??
What's great about it: Macro presentations of Tax Topics that Promote Understanding
What's not so great: Non-TT related Issue of 1098 and 1099 Document ID and Location

Turbo tax

Turbo tax is very easy to use and a quick way to fill out he necessary forms.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: not sure all my deductions were taken
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall for my first experience it went well. I would use this next year.
What's great about it: Ability to bring in document details if they are available (w-2)
What's not so great: Doing the charitable inputes is very tedious
