Excellent Tax Software

Before using Turbo Tax I did my taxes manually. It took over 12 hours to complete my federal and state returns. I have been using Turbo Tax since 2006. I can complete my returns in less than 2 hours.
What's great about it: Ease of use, intuitive, thorough analysis of income and deductions.
What's not so great: None

makes life easy

This program makes things so easy. It even, seemingly, thinks for you. If you forget to input certain things, it will know and will bring it to your attention. It makes suggestions, based on your input as to other deductions you may have forgotten. It guides you through the process so easily you wonder why you ever paid anyone else to do your taxes.
What's great about it: does almost everything for you

My expenses required too much detail - like the dates for multiple donations to the same place or chairity. IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO GET USED THOSE REPEAT MOVES! Now I'm ready to print and mail it. Thanks.
What's great about it: You kept me moving - for two sessions
What's not so great: Some parts had to be repeated too often. Charity items.

Easiest file ever!

This is about my tenth year using Turbotax and I will be using it for at least the next ten years! I love how each year it imports the information from the previous year. It has dealt every year with my changing tax situations in a straight forward and simple way. I also do not have to worry about the changing tax laws every year. Turbotax takes care of that also. It is like having my own personal tax adviser in my home. For anyone who struggles with their taxes, Turbotax is for you!
What's great about it: Step by step instructions.
What's not so great: Downloads every time I logged on.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
