TurboTax is extremely user friendly. I've used it for many years. I love it. Rarely have I had to use their readily accessable and easy to use Helps. When I've had they have been excellent, easy to understand and apply. All I can say is; Awesome program!!!! and thankyou!!!

TurboTax for 2012

Somehow, I went through the Arizona form and either wasn't presented with or missed the prompt if my charitable donations included aid to the working poor. This was using the EZ Step Method. When I realized it was missing I went back to see if this tax credit was still valid and it was. I went into the Forms and located AZ Form 321 quite easily and filled it out. That's all I had to do, my AZ return was updated properly and this meant an increase in my refund. Another issue was that AZ Form 321 provided space for only three charities and I had four to report. It wasn't clear how I could add that 4th charity with the intention of e-filing. So I squeezed two charities onto the first line with the combined amount detailed. We'll see if they accept this workaround.
What's great about it: Quite intuitive with just a few exceptions
What's not so great: Difficulty with Arizona Aid To The Working Poor

Makes filing taxes less painful!

I've been using TurboTax for years now -- and it's made the groan-worthy task of paying taxes far easier than it could be.
What's great about it: Easy to use! Step-by-step instructions are wonderful.
What's not so great: Sadly, taxes are inevitable...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I/we have been using Turbo tax for a loonnng time now. Never had any problem or misgivings. Will continue using Turbo Tax for along time more. You can't go wrong with Turbo Tax.

This is by far the best tax preparation software I have ever used. I have used others in the past and never felt like I got the kind of refund I deserved. This software is easy to use and very straightforward, but can be more complex if you need it to be.
What's great about it: Simple and easy to use, can be more complex if you need it to be
