GREAT SOFTWARE...EASY

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SOFTWARE FOR "DO IT YOURSELF-ERS". EASY AND ACCURATE. USED MANY YEARS NOW.
What's great about it: COUPLE PROBLEMS --- FOUND ANSWERS EASILY

Turbo-Sized My Refund!!

Have used Turbo Tax for 5 years. Have always like it but loved it this year. Seemed to be extremely user friendly and glitch-free!! The explanations were more in depth and I did receive more deductions this year than in the past!!
What's great about it: Detailed explanations of possible deductions!
What's not so great: Would like to squeeze 1 state taxes out for free.....

Pretty good

In particular, this year, for some reason, it did not pick up that I get the American Opportunity Credit for my daughter's college tuition. Since I owed a lot of tax, I figured out that was the reason and then had more trouble figuring out how to go back in and claim it.
It seems like something like that happens every year
What's great about it: certainly makes most of it easy
What's not so great: every year there's always one or 2 glitches that take up a day

Another one bites the dust!

I've used TurboTax for a number of years. I like it, like the option of "It's Deductible", and "Audit Defense." Had to do my taxes without internet this year (until I sent them, of course) due to internet problems, and found it less helpful than having a live connection.
What's great about it: ease of use following questions
What's not so great: hard to use when not online

Very easy to process and file. No complaints other than I had to pay!!! :) Not turbo's fault of course but would have been nice to get a federal refund!! Maybe next year.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow directions and great reference links
What's not so great: Having to pay for State eFile..

Nice program. Don't like the fact that I buy the software then have an additional charge to file.
What's great about it: Easy. Rolls over information from prior year (if you use turbo tax)
What's not so great: Nickle and dime tactic to file at the taxes electronically. Why not build that into the purchase price.

Easy to use and fast refunds!

I've been using Turbo Tax for several years. I like the ease of use. Especially the way it goes through each item in detail asking specific questions to make sure you get everything input that you need to. I'm very comfortable with the results and I love getting my refunds so quickly.
What's great about it: Easy to use and understand.
What's not so great: None
