Great First Experience With TurboTax

This was my first experience doing my taxes on my own, I was nervous but once I saw how simple it was I excelled and finished my taxes in less than two hours! What a deal that was!
What's great about it: Very easy step by step tax program
What's not so great: None!

What's great about it: Accurate and fast calculation of entered material
What's not so great: couple issues with not being able to add my statement to the copy that would get e-filed, so I could not efile.

Love TurboTax

I've used TurboTax for as long as it has been available. I finish my returns in an hour or less and am always confident they are correct. I love being prompted for things i may not have remembered and reminded about things i claimed last year - just to check to see if they are still valid. Importing the previous year's return is a HUGE timesaver. The state return is almost complete by the time i get to it because of all the information input for the federal return - that is great because i don't have to enter a lot of repetitive data.
I also like the summary pages, the two year comparison and the information on US averages - just bonuses.
What's great about it: It's easy. It's thorough. It is right when compared to professional tax preparers and accountants.
What's not so great: Too much scrolling when going through obscure income and deductions - categories should roll up to fit on one page.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Fast Tax Preparation

I have used TurboTax now for over 5 years and love being able to do my taxes myself. It has made it easy to understand and finish up. I love Turbo Tax

I love the fact that Turbo Tax was user friendly and easy to understand. I walked me through step by step and helped me remember items that I had forgotten about or didnt know I could deduct. My return is very complicated since my husband works for DOT and itemizes everything. TurboTax made that easy and stress free.
What's great about it: Walks me through the whole process in easy to understand language
What's not so great: no autosave. Was half way done and had to leave and come back. My return was gone and I had to start over

easy to use

I have trouble with most things finanacial and turbo tax was easy for even some like me to use. It also did not take up my whole day and I got to get on with my day quickly
What's great about it: easy, fool proof, fast, inexpensive
What's not so great: did alone, talked to myself a lot, dont like paying taxes
