Awesome program!

This is my second year using TurboTax, and I still don't regret switching from having my taxes done professionally. The program is extremely user-friendly and can be used at my convenience (as opposed to having to take time off from work to have someone else prepare my taxes). My only criticism is that it would be nice if you could pinpoint a step to return to once you'd moved past it. For example, I discovered a charitable deduction I missed and would have liked the option to be able to go to that specific spot in the deduction section without having to go through the entire process again. However, I will allow that it could just be that I couldn't figure out how to do it! :) Overall, it's a great program, and I will be back again next year!
What's great about it: Super easy to use; helps achieve max refund
What's not so great: Would like to be able to go back to a specific spot in the program

2012 return

This year the process seemed easier than I remembered. I would have liked to see the tax return before it was submitted but I could not print a copy.
What's great about it: simple, easy, quick, painless

Easy peasy

I love this software and the ease by which it allows me to do the taxes. I have been using it for a few years and being able to just import info directly from W2 my company sends

Easy Process Despite a Complicated Return

Last year, we sold property at a loss. We weren't able to take all of the credit on that return and I was concerned that I'd have a lot of issues trying to find out how to handle it.
Not to worry....everything was transferred over to this year's, and it was easy. Yea!
What's great about it: Info generated last year made filing this year a breeze
What's not so great: Had to really go over deductions to make sure all were accounted for
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I used to have a professional tax preparer do my taxes. I had to fill out tons of paperwork for him-no more than what I do step-by-step on Turbo Tax for much less money.

So Simple and Quick!

I was surprised at how very quick and simple the product made filing. I have not filed my own taxes since I was a teenager and was a bit afraid to do so this year on my own. TurboTax made it so easy and now I have refunds coming to me.
What's great about it: Very simple and straight forward. Took less than 1 hour to file both Federal and State returns.
What's not so great: none
