Turbo tax veteran

I've used Turbo Tax for the past 6 year with no problems. I even have other family members use it for their returns. I even did my daughters taxes when she moved to Arizona.

Makes taxes almost too easy

Just a simply intuitive way to do Federal & State taxes. What used to take a full weekend can be done in half a day.

All good except percentage of biz income glitch

We miss being able to jump from one tax field to another field in a different form to verify that entries in worksheets were correct.
We also miss being able to jump from the form to the particular step in the TurboTax interview. Now the software only takes users to wherever a person left off in the interview before going to the form instead of to the interview spot selected on the form.
There was a problem in line 8 of 8829, which was showing a negative number because in Schedule C TurboTax listed the percentage of income from home office use as only the percentage of office space instead of 100%. We had to run through the home office section again and found TurboTax had unchecked the box for "I do all of my business from home".
The TurboTax welcome screen keeps asking for us to enter our names and addresses even after filling out the form, so we always have to bypass it.
TurboTax continues to ask about 1099 forms even after I check the radio button that we have no 1099s.
What's great about it: Can enter tax information quickly
What's not so great: Glitch in biz income percentage on schedule c

Only took me a about 4 hours to get through my returns. I trust that Turbo Tax calculated everything correctly.
What's great about it: Mostly easy
What's not so great: Stock sales

Easy to complete

Filing taxes was easy even though I had to flag a few sections for follow-up. The flags are helpful because they allow you to continue with your return even if you're missing some necessary information. I was able to complete my return on my time, not forced to finish it all at once.
What's great about it: simple directions, walks you through most scenarios
