Complexity too much

All in all it is very good, but the rather horrible cross links and the insistence on unnecessary data (like W-2 and 1099 addresses, especially when they don't come with addresses is a pain.
What's great about it: It works really well if you know how to use it
What's not so great: The crossreferncing/source of data is really bad. (This used to be a strength of the program.

YOU GOTTA TRY IT!

I have been using Turbo Tax for 7 years now and always find it very easy to use. There is always help when you need it with the Turbo Tax Community. I recommend it to all of our friends.

No sweat tax time

I have fairly simple returns with only 2 states and an arts job... lol... I can't make heads or tails of the real tax forms anymore. All I can say is TurboTax has gotten me thru tax season for 15 years.

What's great about it: Turbo Tax leads you through the process with as little pain as you could wish.
What's not so great: All of the little problems I encountered were due to tax law... not really TurboTax's fault.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: VERY EASY TO USE AND QUICK TO REVIEW FOR SECOND TIME AROUND, GREAT IMPORT FORM PREVIOUS YEAR AND COMPARISON TO PREVIOUS
What's not so great: SELF EMPLOYMENT WAS DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND
