You don't need to go to a tax specialist
What's great about it: Turbotax figures out the best way to minimize my taxes.
What's not so great: Sometimes it is diffucult to determine how things are being figured by the program.

TurboTax 2012 Review

Overall, I like it a lot. I've used it continuously for around 15 years or so.
What's great about it: Pretty much a no brainer to use
What's not so great: Prints forms I don't want printed and doesn't allow me to keep them from being printed

For the most part filing with TuurboTax is easy. At times I find it challenging to find the proper form where and item needs to be entered.
What's great about it: just plug and go
What's not so great: difficult to find some of the forms

Turbo is it

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 5 years and have always been pleased with the ease of entering your information and the guide me program in Turbo Tax. Also the fact that it will gather your information from previous years and put it in the new Turbo Tax program. One thing that gives me confidence my return is accurate and has all of the latest updates is that the program always updates every time you start it.
What's great about it: Using the Guide me program makes it easy to keep all of your information organized.
What's not so great: Did not see a way to compare your real deductions with the standard deduction.

This software is great. I have been using it for years and have never had a problem. It handles non-standard incomes and deductions without any trouble. I would never use anything else.
What's great about it: Easy, Quick, Accurate, Has it all
