Always Very Easy

This year is my 4th year using Turbo Tax. Prior I had used an accountant, but she was too busy to handle my account in 2010. I decided to try TurboTax, and would not go back.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax makes everything simple. Did my taxes in less than 2hrs from installing to filing.
What's not so great: Really Nothing

Easy

TurboTax costs me far less than paying a tax preparer and I am comfortable that I am getting the maximum refund on my federal return and paying the state the least amount I owe.
What's great about it: I like how easy it is to complete the correct forms.

As good as a tax pro and the comfort of your couch

This was my first year using a tax prep software, and TurboTax was the way to go! It allows you to flag parts of the preparation and return to it later, so a normal person like me can take a first pass at it and then go back and google the tax language I didn't know.
Also, it lets you view the tax forms in context as you fill them out so that you can compare with previous years' returns.
I more than cut my tax prep bill in half this year, and didn't have to spend a couple hours at a tax office drinking bad coffee and getting funny looks from the tax prep guy because I didn't know the tax code.
I will definitely use this again next year!

The only thing I noticed that was a bit of a negative was that the software is a resource hog, I used it on an older laptop and it consumed ~20-30% CPU and ~150 MB of memory even when idle, which seems odd to me. Not really an issue while using the software, just don't try to multitask too hard at the same time (which probably isn't a bad thing while doing taxes...)
What's great about it: Lots of detail, usability
What's not so great: Software performance (oddly enough)
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Solid, dependable

They tried an upsell you to the next level of TurboTax just for doing an ESPP entry - this should be included in this level and they make it needlessly difficult to understand in this edition.
Also, a little more description of how you can have 0 taxable on a Schedule C but still be paying self-employment tax would be nice - it is too buried in the details.
What's great about it: Keeps track of things from year to year
What's not so great: ESPP and Mileage Still are a bear
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Turbotax makes it so easy to do taxes. I can't imagine going back to doing it by hand.

O all the time

I've used turbo tax for 5 straight years...each year our income gets closer to 250K. We don't have fancy deductions, but every year Turbo Tax helps us out.
What's great about it: easy to use...even for high income family
What's not so great: Not sure what all the deduction details are
