HAD ISSUES

WHEN I FILED ELECTRONICALLY THE FORM WOULD NOT ACCEPT A MAILING ADDRESS FOR THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION OUT OF THE STATE OF PA. I HAD TO GO BACK AND RE ENTER THAT INFORMATION. VERY ANNOYING.
What's great about it: CALCULATIONS
What's not so great: AS I MOVED BACK AND FORTH SOME INFO WAS LOST

User Friendly

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now. Before Turbo Tax software, I use to manually file my taxes or even once consulted a paid tax advisor for help. Now I can just insert the disk and follow each step to safely and accurately preparing my tax returns.

Peace of mind and max refund

I have been doing our family taxes using Turbotax for many years. I throw all tax related documents in one file during the year and then spend a couple of hours with Turbotax and generally have my refund well before I expect it. This year we lost a job, had to sell investments to live, and had months of COBRA expenses. I'm sure I would have muddled through the appropriate forms on my own, but I would always have been afraid I was making mistakes. Turbotax allows me to take advantage of the governmental safety nets in place without fearing that I am stepping outside the law and guarantees that all the math is right. It's cheap and easy. I would never do my taxes any other way.
What's great about it: Easy, Accurate, Legal, Efficient

easy to use

Should be up-front about cost of e-filing state return. Not sure if Turbo Tax refunds filing fee were the state to reject the e-file. Otherwise, does its job well for traditional circumstances.
What's great about it: deluxe version handled my situation
What's not so great: does not handle foreign self employed income (family member)

Hard to scroll down page on a Mac

Good product, but need tweaking to work on apple computers.
What's great about it: Effective tax preparation.
What's not so great: Frustrating to have to manually expand screen in order to scroll down page, arrow keys didn't work.

I just love Turbo Tax! I've used it for 12 years, now and have found that doing my taxes has become easier with every year that passes. Intuit continues to update the software and helps to speed the process along with great error checking and sound advice throughout the task.

it was easy to use and understand it imported all of the w-2s over all i love it. its cheaper and quicker than h and r block and you can do it from your home
