Leads you through the process, only asking for essential information.
What's great about it: Gets everythin it can from previous returns.
What's not so great: Does not keep you informed of what form you are on. ie Schedule C

Great program each year. Makes an onerous duty simple.

What's not so great: Some of the state taxes instructions weren't completely clear regarding pension income

Quick and mostly easy

Usability continues to get worse..entering info slow and clunky..used to be much better. Shouldn't have to scoll down a screen to hit the enter charity button..lots of scrolling and why not have easier ways to enter dates..make the year 2012 everywhere..let us correct the few changes. Simple stuff...
What's great about it: Covered most of the issues
What's not so great: Expensive and still need to talk to tax pro

The step-by-step information at the onset set the stage for a painless and relatively quick process that used to take me hours!

TAX RETURNS MADE SIMPLE

TURBO TAX IS THE SIMPLEST AND EASIEST WAY TO DO YOUR TAX RETURNS AND TO FILE THEM. I WILL NEVER USE ANY OTHER PROGRAM. I'VE BEEN USING TURBO TAX FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS AND I LOVE IT TODAY AS MUCH AS I LOVED IT THE FIRST TIME I USED IT. I WORK AS AN ACCOUNTANT AND THERE IS NO OTHER PRODUCT I WOULD USE TO DO MY TAXES AND FILE. EASY INSTRUCTIONS AND EXPLANATIONS MAKE IT FAST AND EASY FOR THE TAXPAYER. THANKS TURBO TAX.
