Like the format, straightforward questions with explanations. I'm bound to use Turbo Tax again next year...it's the best.
What's great about it: Really understandable
What's not so great: Kept flipping back to review the whole thing again and again

Less Pain

Thanks for providing a reasonably painless ans accurate mechanism to calculate and pay state and federal taxes. The flow is logical and comprehensive to me and it more than meets my tax preparation needs.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, less painful
What's not so great: none
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

should have an" other " or the ability to add items to it's deductible at the end of each it's deductible category
What's great about it: ease of operations; fairly intuitive
What's not so great: list of items in ite's deductible needs to have more items

Worked Like a Charm

We have used TurboTax for over ten years. The program saves our data from previous years to save steps for us. If I make a mistake it recalculates things easily. It works fast on my computer, too! The only downsides are 1) Schedule K forms are still difficult to understand, and 2) I owed taxes this year (though that is not really TurboTax's fault).
Keep up the good work!

Easy to Use

I am so glad my friend talked me into trying TurboTax! Since purchasing my house 12 years ago, I was afraid to do my own taxes. I was paying a CHUNK of money to have them done.
I downloaded TT for a pittance of what I paid the CPA - AND I LEARNED SO MUCH! My CPA didn't meet with me, so I never really knew what documents I COULD be collecting year to year for deductions. NOW that I've used TT and completed my taxes myself, I know what to save for next year's deductions! Did you know you can deduct saline solution for your contacts!?!?!
With the SAVE feature -allowing me to walk away and work another day - I could also take the time to gather the paperwork for deductions and return to the form completion later.
Filing was easy, and I was able to print and save the documents.
I did have to pay a small fee to e-file my state taxes, but even with that, I still made out like a bandit doing the "paper"work myself this year.

Overall, I love using TurboTax. I always have to pay, so maybe I just have a bad attitude about taxes in general. Would like some 'pop ups' or something that gives easy to understand explanation of how or what to do. Most of the HELP is too technical at times.

What's not so great: Some of the explanations and the 'help' are too technical
