The turbo tax wizard is great

I will continue to use Turbo Tax. Once again I have successfully filed my income taxes with little to no problems.
What's great about it: easy to use and follow through
What's not so great: wasn't sure where to go back sometimes.

Great program

I have used this program for many years and it's always so easy to do. All my kids ask me to do their returns also, so it's nice that all the info is available each year and I don't have to start over every time.
What's great about it: So easy to do

Easy to use. Really handy to have information rolled forward from previous years returns.
What's great about it: Completed returns for whole family quickly and easily.
What's not so great: Should include state e-file as part of price.

The good and the not so good.

I have used TurboTax for more than a decade now. Over time, the User Interface has gotten more verbose and much more time consuming to use. I found and have been using the "Explorer on My Own" feature to just hit those topics I have had to use previously to get around this. However, even though I select specific topics for Income and Deduction/Credits, the program appears to stray into other topics occasionally.
I do not know what size screen TurboTax was designed for, but my "Continue" and "Back" buttons are often scrolled off the screen, even when the majority of the screen is blank. This is very annoying.
I also find very annoying the advertisements that repeat themselves for several consecutive screens. When I tell TurboTax I am not interested, I do now want to be ask again.
What's great about it: Forms and worksheets work consistently, linked data goes where it is suppose to go
What's not so great: Turbotax sometimes ask what appears to be irrevelent questions.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Good for another 10 years

I've used Turbo Tax for some 10 years and watched it improve from year to year. Their interview system make entering data quite easy. Even the process of entering oil & gas royalty income is straightforward. I talked a friend into using Turbo Tax after his tax preparer retired. Although hesitant at first, he finally downloaded it and, much to his surprise, it helped him to quickly prepare his return. He was overjoyed that he was able to download his investment history from various brokers. One area that needs development is that of the MRD (Minimum Required Distribution)
What's great about it: Interview systems make it easy to use
What's not so great: I found it difficult to find specific forms. Some forms aren't in the main list and require more searching.
