Very smooth and easy entries for this year. Conveniece of tax loss carryforward every year. Only disappointment was with the 1099 Int section wherein in does not accurately fill in the State where non-taxable interest (Muni bonds) as downloaded from ETrade.

A terrific experience

I couldn't file my taxes without Turbo Tax. I prefer doing my taxes myself. and Turbo tax makes that possible . I have recomended Turbo Tax to all of my friends and Clients.
What's great about it: It was quick and easy to use, like having a tax Pro in my Kitchen.
What's not so great: theres not much to complain about. I think the only limiting factor was the speed of my connection.

easy forms

I received a couple of tax forms this year that were incomplete and did not contain all of the relevant information for completing my return, TurboTax made it easy to make the proper adjustments and file my taxes correctly.
What's great about it: when tax statements come incomplete, turbo tax forms are easily corrected for correct tax filing

Time saving/good program

It would save time if all limits required for deduction such as required job related expenses were know before the information is entered.
What's great about it: I like the step by step walk-through
What's not so great: Job expense limit was not know until after entering information.

QUICK AND EASY--ANYONE CAN SUCCEED

I HAVE BEEN AN EARLY ADOPTER OF TURBO TAX. I HAVE RECOMMENDED IT TO MANY FRIENDS. I AM CONCERNS ABOUT HAVING TO ENTER IN SS#, IN THIS DAY AND AGE IT SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE THE IDENTIFIER NEEDED. I AM ALARMED BY IDENTITY THEFT ISSUES. TURBO TAX IS A LEADER AND SHOULD DO SOMETHING TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE.
What's great about it: GET YOUR PAPERWORK READY..EASY TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AND GOOD EXAMPLES
What's not so great: HARD TO GO BACK AND KNOW IF YOU SHOULD REDO THE STEPS IN ORDER AGAIN

Big improvement over 2007-2011 versions

Have used Turbo Tax Deluxe for over 5 years now. Every year it has been extremely confusing entering double taxed income (live in one state, work in another). This year the process has dramatically improved.
What's great about it: Handles multi state income better than before
What's not so great: Price, Need to shop around for best deal
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for the past 10 years and have had good results.
What's great about it: Very quick and easy to follow
