So easy

The program made it so easy for the forms to be completed. The guides take you step by step so there is less chances of you forget anything that you can claimed. Filling the federal return is awesome - you don't even need to go to the post office!

Turbo Tax 2012

Moved an IRA during the year and expected much trouble proving it to IRS. Turbo tax lead me through it with no issues.
This was the fastest year ever.
What's great about it: excelent handleing of previous year ammended return

please add ability to handle 1041 and ca-541 for trust.
for kids' taxes, get requested info directly from parents' return
What's great about it: import data, error check, bounce between forms and questions
What's not so great: didn't check for entering duplicate information
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Your product is the only tax prep software I have used for years. I have always done my own taxes and when you made TurboTax available, I was excited to try it. The format is easy to grasp and the walk through catagories are great to follow. So far I have been very happy with TurboTax and I plan on using it again.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions and gives great explanations

Once I've pulled together all of my tax records, the entry of information is fairly easy. I appreciate Turbo Tax pulling in the information from the prior year to jump start the return entry process.
What's great about it: Appropriate level of detail

Quick and mostly pain free

I have been using Turbo Tax for years! I so appreciate being able to do my taxes in the comfort of my home,in my own time frame and without the huge prep fees. Being able to file online and have questions answered by the clik of a mouse is great!
What's great about it: At home quick and easy tax preparation, no lines or huge fees!
What's not so great: Filing fees for State/Other
