I have been using this program for many years. I especially like the carry over feature from the previous year.
What's great about it: Intuitive and comprehensive

Used turbo for many years. Really feel comfortable that I am walked thru all the right areas.
You've done a real good job of making it user friendly.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate. Really helpful on rental property and calculations.
What's not so great: Slow start up

Very easy and straightforward

This is my 3rd year using the Deluxe version of Turbo Tax to do my Federal and State returns. I tried another brand one year, and went back to Turbo Tax because I really like it a lot better. The application has always been easy to use and it provides clear direction. It really takes no time at all for a simple 1040 return with itemized deductions.
What's great about it: Easy to understand

Overall, pretty good and easy. The state form was iffy in that it held less direction as to where to find some info from previous years filings.

I've used Turbo Tax for many years now and will continue to use it. It gives me pretty high confidence that everything necessary is included.
What's great about it: My husband died this year, and I'm confident that everything necessary was considered.

Glad it's over!

Overall, it was a quick experience, but because we lived in 2 states last year, there were a few bumps along the way and some questions that seemed a little vague. Mostly, we're just glad it's over and done with!

Want to see the whole picture

I did my own taxes on paper forms for many years before switching to Turbo Tax. I wish there was some way to integrate the IRS form with the interview questions. I love the fact that the program does all the calculations but I sometimes feel lost about where to enter something or wonder if I missed something. Filling out the form line by line made me feel more confident that I had addressed everything and alerted me to the need to fill out any additional forms. I do love the ability to efile and have direct deposit.
What's great about it: Does all the calculations
What's not so great: Difficult to coordinate interview with form
