Taxes made hard

I tried and tried to delete the W2 as we did not have one. Finally just had to send a partially filled in one. It has taken me hours to finish this program. I still don't know that I did it right.
What's great about it: got em done!
What's not so great: wouldn't let me put the right numbers

Program that works!

In this age of high speed information, especially those who have the software, The company server should detect the client's modem/router baud-receive rate. This way the server should match that rate. Microsoft updates server sends at lower rate than what I receive; thus instead of less than three min. It takes 5 min or more to download & install. Albeit, you are a little faster, It can be worked on.
There should be an intro discount for 1st time customers and a long time user discount for accounts over 10 years. I have been with you since 1989. This great program far superior to others in this field...

What's great about it: Easy to use, and information is at your fingertips.
What's not so great: Start up speeds should be a little faster, Download/installing / updates speeds are slow.

So easy and efficient

Took all the questions I had and solved them. I did not need to look up IRS regulations or instructions. All at my fingertips. Have been using for years and will continue for years to come.

Probably will not use Turbo Tax next year since I had to purchase the thing twice to get the state return to work. Certainly won't recommend it.
What's great about it: Federal was great.
What's not so great: State didn't work. Had to buy again.

Love Turbo Tax. I have always had success with this software.People I know have gone to tax preparation store fronts and had found that their taxes were the same filing through them as through Turbo Tax. I prefer to keep my information confidential and feel very confident in my abilities to prepare my own taxes. I would advise that if you have trickier taxes, invest in the deluxe version, you can't go wrong!
What's great about it: East to Use/ Install
What's not so great: Tax Laws, Even with Turbo Tax, are Sometimes Confusing

City of New York retiree info classification not easily identified, if not teacher. Had to include as State retiree to assuure proper classification forwarded to State return.
