I really can't think of anything that needs changing. I know every year I can rely on Turbo Tax to help me get it done.

Far better than going to a tax office!

We have used Turbo Tax for several years now and can't say enough good things about it. We love it's ease of use, plus the fact that we have several options for things to claim/not claim. We also love that we can choose both the method of our refund, as well as how we pay to file our State returns. We haven't ever tried the software for other tax preparation companies so I don't know how it compares. All I can say is, why would we want to go shop around when we love Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy to use, E-filing, plus lots of other options!
What's not so great: Can't e-file unless ALL updates are installed

Never done taxes for Pensions. Did my parents return in no time with limited knowledge. Step offs to information are simple and easy to use.

TT worked again, and I have used it for more than 10 years. Enjoy the automatic personal data entry and the automatic broker data entry, but I would still like more control i.e. there can be to much automation.
What's great about it: Auto fill of personal data and brokers data
What's not so great: Not enough control. I don't want the automation all the time.

Taxes made easy

I love the questions, but when I answered that I didn't have a K1, I still had to delete the form to keep an error from popping up during the error check. I had a K1 in years past, but not this year. Additionally, I could not find any instructions on how to avoid this error, or a place to get help. I finally tried deleting the K1 and that worked. This took some time to figure out,which is my only complaint. Other than that- the program is a dream!

What's great about it: Walking a customer through all the required forms is excellent. pop-ups save time. Importing information is easy
