Graduate Student, Earned Income

TurboTax helped me answer my questions about income earned and tuition payed as a graduate student and a recipient of the earned income credit. Everything was easy, as usual. I like that I have a quick review and assurance there are no errors.
What's great about it: answered all questions, no glitches, easy
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using TurboTax for about 15 years now and love it! It saves me money on preparation and has helped me to understand my family's tax situation better than having someone else prepare our taxes. I have tried competitors, but came back to TurboTax because of the ease of navigating the program and clarity of explanations. The only drawback is that e-file fees have gone up so I am seeing less savings than in the past, but it is still a good solution for me.
What's great about it: self-checking; makes multi-state returns much easier
What's not so great: it takes some digging and research to resolve some questions

Last year when we bought our copy of
Turbo tax it included the state too; not so this year.
quick and easy to file. Federal is so much easier than state form. Too bad I have to do it on my own.
Anyway, thanks for the help.

Turbo Tax is a user-friendly option to filing your taxes. The 2 mode option allows you to take an easy laid out route or go through your own way. I like the choices here.
I love the federal and state program that transfers your information into the state forms with a hassle to you. It cuts down on the chance of error.
I love the error checks feature and seeing my risk of audit. The color scale gives me peace of mind. Turbo Tax is affordable and allow e-file for low rates.

What's great about it: Turbo Tax is easy to use and allows you to find the maximum refund possible.

So easy to use!

I've used Turbo Tax for several years. I love that it connects to the most previous tax year and return. My information is already set up, before I even begin! Filing my taxes is so easy because Turbo Tax takes you through each step, explaining each scenario in words that make sense to everyone!
What's great about it: Turbo tax walks me through everything, in language that I understand.

I use this program every year and it does an easy, thorough and professional job of walking me through the dreaded tax filing experience.
What's great about it: Step by step coverage of every tax section
What's not so great: wish you didn't have to pay so much for an upgrade
