Excellent Service

This year I needed assistance since it was not letting me do my state tax return. Even though I got disconnected from the service rep, they heard enough of conversation to go ahead and reset me. I was able to log off and back on and everything worked fine.

Quick and Easy

I thought Turbo Tax is a great tool to use especially for simplier tax returns. It's quick and each section of the tax return is explained well.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Sometimes I click too quickly through screens

Very Easy to Use

A fast and complete to do taxes. A detailed and comprehensive interviw type system makes data entry a breeze. Being able to import W-2 and brokerage data speeds up the entire process considerably.
What's great about it: Fast entry of data, clear explanation of entry items, import fearures

Quick and Clear

I am a volunteer tax preparer as part of the IRS VITA program.
The government software is obviously developed to meet the concepts of programmers. While it offers direct to form and an Interview mode, we all use direct to form.
You don't realize how easy and intuitive Tubro Tax is until you try the competition.
Good work
What's great about it: You have the option of interview or direct to form
What's not so great: I use a lot of detail pages to explain the numbers in the field, but I don't have acess to the previous years details

Turbo Tax is the best software I have used. One year, I used Tax Cut and it was significantly deficient. However, as my taxes become more complicated, I would like Turbo Tax to move with me.
What's great about it: Intuitive in going through the questions
What's not so great: lacked answers to specific questions I had in going through my taxes...ones that I would think an FAQ would be good for.

I really like that fact that it loads last years to minimize data entry. Also the search capabilities and tax law etc.
What's great about it: Easy to use, 2 options for entering love it Use for 10 yrs.
