How quick is Turbo Tax?

My mom did her taxes and was able to get mine done within fifteen minutes. She was so relieved to finally be done and I got a refund as well. I hadn't expected this!!
Now I have money coming in for my savings account to help with college expenses next school year.
What's great about it: Quck and easy when parents have to claim me as well

Complicated Returns Made Easy!

I've used TurboTax for years. Have always been satisfied. First year I've had two state tax returns due to a relo. Federal and VA State returns are still clean, easy, and complete. NC still has a way to go with integrating into the electronic filing world. Had to mail in a check to pay my NC state taxes - or go to the NC Dept of Revenue web site to set up the payment. REALLY!?
What's great about it: Thorough interview, no worry arithmetic, all required forms
What's not so great: NC State return interface is a bit tricky - thanks NC! Not a TurboTax problem.

easier to use 2012

I tried to search a specific question in deductions and could not get to the appropriate place in the file. Should combine deluxe and premier - no reason not to have all capabilities at hand. I had some rental and some securities trades and used deluxe. In the future it may be more complicated and I don't think it should be necessary to upgrade to another turbo tax. In the future, I may determine to have my taxes prepared by a professional unless deluxe and premier are combined.
What's great about it: ability to complete in a timely manner
What's not so great: would like to have a google type search

I had several questions as I went along as my filing status changed over the last year. The user forum was very helpful to get information from people who had been in similar situations with their tax status.

I find TT easy to use and thorough. I like the abilty to purchase additional services like expert guidance and audit protection. We have copicated returns but TT makes it fairly easy.
What's great about it: guidance and ease of use
What's not so great: help sections are not detailed enough in all cases

Explanation of terms

The most significant delay I encountered in the tax preparation process centered on the matching a small number of entry headings that did not exactly match that presented in the TurboTax program.
What's great about it: TurboTax was great in its ability to guide me through the tax preparation process.
What's not so great: Some terms in the TurboTax program did not match those on Tax documents.

Have been using it for years and cannot say how much it helps if in the correctness of the mathimatical correctness.
What's great about it: Everything right in front of you and you can look at any forms at anytime when you are unsure of an input
