I love Turbo Tax, so simple, straightforward, has info if you need it for each item. Why pay someone to do your taxes when you can do it with Turbo Tax????? It's a no-brainer!
What's great about it: So easy!! Has all the possible deductions

This is the 3rd year I have used TurboTax and have found it to be real easy. Will use it again next year.
What's great about it: Was very easy to follow instructions

I have been using TurboTax for several years. It is the easiest, most painless tax prep available. I did try another one once but ended up getting TurboTax.

Over all, easy to complete. Unable to transport W2 info.
Had a lot of difficulty correcting an entry error.
If documents available, can complete filing in a couple of hours.
This is the 5th year, I have used Turbo Tax and so far, so good. My sister works for the IRS and she recommended it.

Used turbo for many years never had an audit. Very easy to use and understand even if there is a business or rentals

Turbo Tax Review #1

Overall a great software package with great documentation and support. There are still a few areas that I find difficult to maneuver year after year. The first is the IRA Roth IRA sections and non deductable contributions. I continually have to remember all my past returns and am not sure I capture it correctly. The second is college scholarships. The program does a great job of assisting in determining when kids have to file a return, but the instructions on what is taxable are difficult to understand.
What's great about it: Comprehensive tax preparation software package
What's not so great: Some of the complicated tax directions are still hard to understand.

An Easy Way to do Taxes

I've been using TurboTax for many years now, and the 2012 edition did not disappoint. As usual, very easy, and you feel comfortable at the end knowing that the IRS will be happy with the return. Thanks!

Complicated made Easy!

Doing an elderly parent''s complicated retirement return for the first time, Turbo Tax really saved my bacon! The auto-download from the Financial Institutions and automatic selection of the right tax forms needed stopped my nightmares cold. The only thing I would have liked to see is a short explanation why part of the Social Security income was taxable. Just a short "Total income exceeds Social Security limits making a portion of your Social Security payments taxable." Just that one sentence would have saved me the hour I researched it. If the explanation was available in TT, it was not apparent to me.
Overall - EXCELLENT!
What's great about it: Downloads from Financial Institutions and automatic Form selection
What's not so great: Some results not explained fully
