Easy Program

Easy to follow instrucitons of the step by step process to file my taxes. I am confident that it did not miss anything that would apply to me and family. Having the history from previous years to compare my current results to is seamless. I plan to continue to use Turbo Tax in future years.

QUICK FOR SIMPLE

After doing a few returns, I found it easy to use for the simplest returns. I do returns for my adult children, and was disappointed to find that I can only file state returns for one state.
What's great about it: Quick & easy for simple 1040A returns
What's not so great: Only one state return allowed free

I paid for the additional state option and it was a waste. I ended up having to download forms and instructions from Utah as turbo tax did not have all of the linkages made to the forms needed for filing.
Turbo tax was not a time saving or complete option as I had to go through the process step by step.

Because of this I found that I will have to do an amendment to the taxes for last year because I ended up just trusting Turbo Tax because it missed the same things I had to do step by step this year.
What's great about it: Pretty straight forward
What's not so great: Did not have the details needed for the Utah State tax return.

Very easy, I have used Turbo Tax for over 15 years. it has always served me well.
What's great about it: Very easy
What's not so great: Cost for Filling state taxes needs to be reduced to about $10.00

I find this program very helpful, easy, and though I find most finance processes nerve-wracking, TurboTax is so simple and helpful that I never really have to worry about it. I just need to be better about collecting my paperwork!

Tax Program Inspires Loyalty

Have used this program for years now and plan to stay loyal to this program. Features are very user friendly and have never had any issues with returns I have filed for myself and family. Tips and explanations are very helpful provided throughout the program. Access to community questions is very easy also. Also feel very comfortable and trusting of the accuracy review and analysis the program features just before getting ready to file. Excellent program. Highly recommend .
What's great about it: User friendly navigation and easy access to explanations of tax items
What's not so great: Fee charged for efiling state return - this should be included in program cost at least for one state filing.
