What's not so great: Leads you into area of additional returns nd then wants to charge you.

Finish everything a one time

If you finalize and email your federal return, it is very hard to get back to your state return and it looks like your city tax return does not exist anymore. The city return was not save as a pdf file and it looks like you have to create a completely new return to get your city return.
What's great about it: It creates a tax return
What's not so great: City return is not saved, hard to find the last section you worked on

Anxiety-free

Turbotax has helped eliminate stress about the new laws and paper work. I recently purchased my first condo and was very confused on what to do differently. I moved from a state without state taxes to a state with them. I have student loans on which I am paying interest. I was overwhelmed with all these variables. The questions were simple and easy to answer. I thought this process was going to be a long headache. I was able to fill my taxes in under 30 minutes.
What's great about it: Simple wording.
What's not so great: Hard to see the end route during questioning.

I really like the feature that if you need to dive deeper, you can. I had a special case for selling stock of a private company. I used the Easy File method until I got to the stock, then I dove into Schedule D, fixed a couple number, and I was done.
I've been using TurboTax since 1995.
What's great about it: Quick, easy
What's not so great: nothing

Every year my husband and I have a different situation to deal with and every year Turbo Tax handles it. The price is great as compared to other services and what can be more convenient then to do your taxes in your own home in your bunny slippers? This is the 12th year I have used Turbo Tax and I keep coming back year after year. That should say it all.
What's great about it: Every year I have something new to deal with and every year it nails it.
What's not so great: Some things are tedious to get back to when forgetting a section but not so bad as to make it unbearable.

Simple, Fast and Cost Effective

This year's version of TurboTax was a breeze to use. I was able to submit our taxes in less than 2 hours and I love that they system pulls all your federal information into the state return. Now, if only they would add local too!
What's great about it: Easy to walk through product
What's not so great: Didn't make it clear how to import your W-2s

Clear and concise

Turbo Tax is clear and concise. I was prompted several times to consider additional deductions that end up giving me a greater return. The sections are easy to understand and complete. I also like the comparison to last years' return as a guidepost. We have a lot of medical expenses and this section of deductions was very help particularly the ability to link to IRS regulations directly.
Federal efiling was free but State efiling was extra, I was a little confused by this as I thought it would be included.
