Turbo Tax is up to date on the latest tax issues so I don't have to worry about missing a deduction or not taking a deduction the right way. I like how I can click on any screen for further explanation of a line of input and the explanation is in 'plain speak'.

I've used this program for years and would never consider using a different one.
What's great about it: Loved the search tool
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Skip the nickname field in this review, It took me six tries, before getting an accept. That's the only real problem I have had.
What's great about it: Ease of use, and unlimited resources
What's not so great: A little choppy, with proofing errors

I enjoy using Turbo Tax each year. The ability to walk through each step with helpful hints allowed me to get us the maximum refund possible.
What's great about it: The ability to walk through each deduction with detailed explainations.
What's not so great: Not too many

Great Product

After insisting on doing my taxes myself year after year, manually calculating AGI, deductions, etc. - I decided to use TurboTax this year. Despite the fact that TurboTax did not find any deductions that I had not found for myself in the past - it was worth every penny in the amount of time it saved me preparing my taxes. Highly accurate and extremely thorough, this is a truly a refined product. Worth every penny. My only knock comes from owning a business. I think they should break a category for people who are employed - but own a side business as many people do. Maybe a category called - "I own a business, but it is not my key source of income..."
What's great about it: Ease of use, calculations done for you, eases you through the filing process.
What's not so great: Slight confusion over "owning your own business."

Forms tool should also have a number look up instead of just a title look up.
