Love the iPad AP!

I loved using the iPad AP to do my taxes, it made it much more convenient for me. I have used TT for years and I keep coming back. The one complaint I had this year was when I went to file using the AP it was a little pricey, over $100. I was able to get the program for my computer for less and ended up filing that way. It was great that I was able to save all my work from the AP onto my computer and still file without having to re-do anything!!
What's great about it: Quick, easy
What's not so great: Can get cheaper at the store

Overall this works well. I think that much of it is done in the "dark" in the sense that it just asks questions in terms of a tax man and not a tlayperson. So, at vrious oints I get confused as to what it is really asking me..I answer what I think and then have to back track. Also, many of us wee the terms and think something else..like wages (I would often read wages and interpret income) not always true. Maybe also explain what it does NOT include
What's great about it: Simple to use on computer
What's not so great: Can't see the forms I fill out until the end and then it is hard to backtrack to that form

Turbotaxt does a great job of walking you through the labyrinth of tax forms. No complaints on that side of the equation. I just hate all of the fees at the back end. $20 to file my state (Federal is included in the software cost). If you want them to take the $20 out of your refurnd, they want another $22 fee to do so! How about including the full cost in the software and be done with it?
What's great about it: Fat, Accurate, and Easy

Tax made easy

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have always been extremely happy with the outcome. I used to have to wait for my Mother In-Law, who prepared taxes professionally. She would put me last in line, and then complain about the amount of money I made vs the amount I spent. I found Turbo Tax and prepared my own taxes the first year, and found out how easy it was. I could even print forms for her to use when she was out. After a few years of Turbo Tax walking me through the process, I became very proficient with tax preparation, and eventually started preparing taxes for my friends and family. I would not do my taxes any other way, thank you Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Fast, Easy, and inexpensive.
What's not so great: N/A
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

MY taxes were transmitted and I thought all was well: but later on a rejection came and wow, was I upset. went back to fix the problem. surprised to find out I did not have the right pin ID simple, right, I was notified very fast and the problem fixed within, two hours. thanks to the help I received which was timely and corrected the problem. what a load off my mind, thanks .

A True Timesaver!!

Love Turbotax. Have used it for MANY years -- it is a wonderful tool as the tax laws and calculations get increasingly complicated. If I didn't have it, the taxes would take me at least a week to do vs. a couple of hours. A TRUE timesaver, not to mention better accuracy and fewer mistakes.
I would be lost without it!!
What's great about it: Downloading information from investment portfolios; weeding through complicated scenarios.
What's not so great: Can't think of anything

I've used Turbo Tax for the last 10 years to file for my family-- Yea- I know this is a little freaky but I actually look forward to doing my own taxes.
